I don’t own a mind, I am mind. Think about that for a bit. Where do your thoughts come from? Your brain is the first answer that’ll come to your thoughts but your brain is just another organ in your body. It’s a translator and electrical switching station the likes of which we can only hope to mimic. It’s an amazing organ, but it’s not the mind. The brain translates and transmutes the energy of thought into motion and verbal communication.
I’m at my desk. I’m typing my thoughts onto my computer’s keyboard. My brain is translating my thoughts, transmuting this energy into electrical impulses that make my body sit, my back straight, my head erect, and cause my fingers to glide smoothly and easily across the keyboard without conscious thought. I simply think of the words I wish to express in type and my brain, the most important part of the subconscious mind, makes the words appear on the screen.
Thoughts are things. They are amazing. I, Mind, am able to think what I want to think. I’ve learned to think in positive terms and release all of the negative programmings I was trained with as I grew up. I, Mind, am now able to differentiate between thoughts that will propel me forward and the useless thoughts that hang me up. I, Mind, am able to now think thoughts of a quality that brings me joy, happiness, harmony, prosperity, well-being, and ease of living.
I, Mind, am in search of answers to questions such as, “Why am I here?”, “What is my purpose?”, and “How can I be of service to multitudes of people?” These empowering questions are the things that excite me and make me want to experience each test that is passed to me every day. I learn lessons from tests and that allows me to expand my awareness and my talents so that I can be even more effective tomorrow. I’ve just described the basis of personal development.
This concept proves to me that I am capable of accomplishing anything that I want to. My thoughts are things. And everything that is in existence today started out as a thought, an idea, in the mind that is the person who invented it. Everything, including our health, happiness, and prosperity all starts with a thought. How healthy, prosperous, and happy do you want to be? You can have it all. You just have to make a decision to make it happen and find other minds to co-create with.
Drop the mike.
