Are you happy?

Seriously, are you happy?  Do you live every day of your life being enthusiastic about how you spend your days?  Are you working with happy and enthusiastic people?  Do you have a goal you’re shooting for?  Did you know that you can have the life you want?

If you’re like most people they’re worrying.  They wish and want.  They play the lottery wishing a win.  They have great fantasies about what their lives would look like if they won but rarely do they think “I’m going to create that lifestyle without the lottery win.”  They really don’t know that they can.  They continue to worry and doubt their abilities and that just attracts things like debt and negative circumstances into their lives.  I can attest to this because that’s EXACTLY how I’ve live for 51 years of my life.  Let me tell you I literally got sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.  I made a committed decision to make serious changes.

Now here’s the point that I’m trying to make.  If we are constantly in a state of worry and doubt, we’re literally living in a state of fear.  When we create actions that we put out to our environment, those actions are in complete harmony with the fear that we are feeling.  Therefore, our actions are not good.  The reaction from our environment will not be good.   This action/reaction is what culminates in our results. Those results will be pretty shitty.  Our Paradigm is what’s causing us to worry and doubt.

The Paradigm is a nest of habits that we’ve accumulated during our lives.  A habit is an idea or a group of ideas that are fixed in the subconscious mind and these habitual thoughts are created by repeatedly thinking things.  So, what are you thinking?  Are the happy thoughts or are they bad thoughts?  Fact of the matter is, if you’re not consciously aware of what you’re thinking, you’re completely out of control of your life. I know.  I used to wonder why bad things kept happening to me.  Now I know.  If we are not conscious of what we are thinking the Paradigm will hand us reruns. It will pass you memories of bad things and then you’ll start thinking bad things.  Every time you think bad things you reinforce the habit.  The Paradigm grows and grows into epic proportions. Therefore, you’ve created a self-generating, self-fulfilling doom cycle.

So how do you stop it?  You start being aware of your feelings.  Your thoughts create your feelings, your feelings create your actions and your actions create your results.  Every action that you’ve taken in the past has brought your right here, right now in this moment and the results you’re experiencing is a direct reflection of those actions.  Now if your actions are a product of your thinking, does it not stand to reason that if you change your thinking, you’ll change your results?

Right now, in this moment, the only moment that is real, is the time that you can take actions that will get you future results that you WANT.  Stop thinking of the past or your current results.  Don’t ignore them just don’t place a lot of energy in thinking about them. Then start thinking of the future you want.  Those thoughts should be happy and joyful and if you have a plan to execute that will get you closer to what you want won’t you feel happy?  That means you’ll take good actions to get to your goal.  Your reactions from the environment will be good and eventually you’ll have what you WANT.

Now you’ve changed your thinking into a self-generating, self-fulfilling SUCCESS cycle!  Isn’t that great?  Here’s the thing about this.  You have to do it alone but you can’t do it by yourself.  You have to surround yourself with good people that will do anything to help you get to where you want to go.  You’ll also need someone to show you your blind spots and help you stay on track for your goal.  A coach does that so well.
